很高興與 列斯雨傘 CIC 及 Leeds Council 合作，在 Leeds Kirkgate Market 內創作了一幅以「香港」為主題的壁畫。這次由 ChillChillCats 設計畫面，並邀請列斯街坊一同參與填色，成為一場充滿歡樂的社區活動。透過這幅作品，我們希望向本地社群分享香港的文化與故事。
2025年10月11日，喺好多街坊朋友嘅見證之下，列斯第一幅以香港為主題嘅大型公眾壁畫，正式同大家見面啦！
列斯雨傘、藝術家 Cindy同一班超勁嘅義工們，由最初嘅 brainstorm、設計草稿、上底色、加細節，前前後後用咗整整三個月時間，完成咗呢個屬於香港人嘅作品。亦感謝 Leeds Council 嘅全力支持，令我哋嘅壁畫可以坐落喺全歐洲最大有蓋市場Kirkgate Market嘅最當眼中央位置。
I’m delighted to have collaborated with Umbrella CIC Leeds and Leeds Council on a mural project inside Leeds Kirkgate Market, themed around Hong Kong. The design was created by ChillChillCats, with local residents invited to join in the colouring, turning it into a joyful community event. Through this artwork, we hoped to introduce the culture and stories of Hong Kong to the local community.
On 11st of October in 2025, with so many friends and supporters, Leeds’ first large-scale Hong Kong-themed mural made its debut at Kirkgate Market! This mural was three months in the making! From brainstorming and sketches to painting and adding all the details, Leeds Umbrella, Cindy, and an amazing team of volunteers poured their hearts into this piece that belongs to all Hong Kongers. We are also very grateful for the full support of Leeds City Council, which allowed our mural to take center stage in Kirkgate Market, the largest covered market in Europe.

呢幅壁畫，就係屬於我哋香港人嘅時光機，當你喺英國生活、懷念起舊香港嘅時候，不妨停一停腳步，嚟Kirkgate Market 感受吓幅畫，欣賞吓畫入面嘅霓虹燈、紅色郵筒、包租婆、黎生、富豪雪糕車、涼茶檔、綠簿仔、仲有奶茶！一筆一筆咁將最自由、最繁榮、最有希望、最有歸屬感嘅香港，定格喺呢面牆上面，留低嗰份溫度同記憶。
喺異鄉生活，相信大家都各自面對緊唔同挑戰。但香港人就好似水咁，識得調整、變通同適應。無論喺邊度，我哋都會帶住勇氣繼續行落去。就好似壁畫入面咁講：Be water, my friend 💛
The mural is like a time machine. Walking by, you’ll see neon lights, red post boxes, the Landlady, Mr. Lai, Mister Softee ice cream van, herbal tea stall, green exercise book, and milk tea—capturing the freedom, hope, prosperity, and sense of belonging that Hong Kongers carry in their hearts.
Life away from home can be challenging, but Hong Kongers are like water—we adapt, adjust, and keep moving forward. Wherever we are, we carry courage with us. Just like the mural says: Be water, my friend 💛

A little taste of Hong Kong 🇭🇰✨Freshly made pineapple buns and egg tarts, served by our wonderful volunteers dressed as cha chaan teng staff to our lovely guest — all set within the nostalgic charm of a classic Hong Kong café.
1 day pop up store - part of the proceeds will be donated to Leeds Feline Friends, supporting local cats in need.
